Approximately 350 volunteers from across Kentucky participated in KLEF's FREE vision screening booth from August 15th - 25th during the 2019 Kentucky State Fair. Volunteers consisted of Lions Club members, AT&T Pioneers, Galen College of Nursing Students, Spalding College of Nursing Students and employees from The Eye Care Institute, University of Louisville Department of Ophthalmology, Louisville Eye Center and Humana.
