Without people like YOU and without fundraisers like Kentucky Gives Day, our team wouldn't be able to serve  40,000+ Kentuckians each year.  The funds raised in support of the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation during our 2026 Kentucky Gives Day fundraising campaign will be used to provide access to eye care to Kentuckians across the state.

We are passionate about our mission to improve the lives of those in our community, and we are grateful for your support in helping us achieve our goals. Together, we can make a difference and create a brighter future for all.

In 2026, TOGETHER, we raised $12,638.00 in just 24 hours!

Our goals for 2026 were:

​

• To have 100% KLEF staff & board participation ​

  • We achieved 72% partcipation from our board

  • Combined board and staff - we had 74% participation

  • We achieved 100% participation from our staff

• To have one or more donors from each of the 120 counties in Kentucky

  • We received donations directly from 13 Lions Clubs in Kentucky - which is about 9% of the Clubs statewide.​

• To have one donation from each of the Lions Clubs in Kentucky

  • We received online donations from 24 counties in Kentucky and a few donations from Indiana and Ohio!  

• To raise $15,000+ to support the programs of the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation

  • With our matching funds and online donations - the total raised is $12,638! (We believe we may have a little bit of additional matching money coming from KNN but the amount is not confirmed yet.)​
