This #GivingTuesday, the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation is asking our friends and supporters to consider giving an end of year gift to help continue the growth of our programs in 2019. Recently KLEF updated our mission - to provide vision services through education, detection, prevention, treatment and empowerment. Through collaborative partnerships we enable greater independence and increased quality of life for all Kentuckians while focusing on children and adults in financial need.
With this mission in mind we are seeking friends who share our vision to:
1. commit to raising funds to increase the number of individuals that we serve
2. commit to volunteering in our programs, especially our vision screening programs: KidSight and our Vision Van.
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this year’s #GivingTuesday will take place on November 27th and will kick off the giving season by inspiring people to collaborate and give back.
