Give NOW in honor of Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday - coming up on Tuesday, December 1 - is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States. It is a movement to create an international day of charitable giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season. On Giving Tuesday, we invite our supporters to make a tax-deductible donation to KLEF to help fund our programs and services. Your gift can made via check (mailed to KLEF office) or online by credit or debit card by clicking here

This year, KLEF is grateful for an extra special opportunity connected with Giving Tuesday that is being made possible by the Louisville Downtown Lions Club as part of the celebration of their Club's 100th Anniversary that was on 9/3/2020. Due to the pandemic, the Louisville Downtown Lions Club has decided not to host a previously-planned in-person Anniversary Celebration Event, and instead they are inviting each Lions Club of Kentucky to make a $100 donation to KLEF between now and Giving Tuesday; then, on Giving Tuesday, LDLC will match all donations (up to $5,000) that have been made to KLEF by Kentucky Lions Clubs.

The funds raised from this 100th Anniversary "Challenge" by LDLC will be used to help purchase new Spot Vision Screener devices for the KidSight Program to replace some dated cameras that are no longer repairable. We are excited for this opportunity and will share more information about the special opportunity with Clubs soon!

Please direct any questions to Lindy Lamkin (lindyl@kylionseye.org) or Mark Webster, President of LDLC (mwebster@twc.com).
