The Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation funds research at the Kentucky Lions Eye Research Institute, Department of Ophthalmology. The Lions of Kentucky have provided the facility to do the best eye research available, and provide a grant each year. They have given a million dollar grant to be matched at two million dollars for a Kentucky Lions Eye Research Chair.

There are cutting edge medical practices that are available to all patients and that is because of all the funding and the brilliant doctors that do the research. There are drugs and techniques that are used today as a result of eye research. We thank all the researchers for their dedication to the cause.
